Solfolio.com was a user created and maintained websites, focused on individuals with visual portfolios like artists and designers. The goal was to get several thousand users paying a monthly subscription of $20 (plus more for expanded services). Solfolio used a custom built ecommerce system which included a streamlined UI/UX, plus a complex e-commerce management system connected to Chase Paymentech and Chargify.
